"The things I'm gonna do for my
country." Was the quote by Vin Diesel (real
name Mark Vincent) that caught everyone's attention
in xXx (Triple X) plays Xander, a trill-seeking
extremist that will do anything for a rush.
Xander ends up being asked by Samuel L. Jackson who
plays Agent Gibbons of the NSA, to infiltrate a
major Russian crime ring. Xander denies at
first but then Gibbons says its either the job or
prison. Xander takes up the assignment and so
begins the "New breed of secret agent."
This movie is jam packed with non-stop action.
If you're an action junky then this is the movie for
you. Diesel's lines aren't exactly the best in
movies or maybe he just sucks at saying them, but in
any case he is better when he is performing
unrealistic stunts, which you have to just laugh at.

Aside from the crappy lines and the fake
stunts the movie is still very funny and
full of action. I would recommend this
to anyone that likes chases, explosions,
guns, motorcycles, and amazing stunts.
On the other hand, if you girlfriend wants
to see it make sure she knows it is an
action movie and that Diesel only takes off
his shirt 2-3 times. |
