Another college comedy, it's been done right?
Oh, you are oh so very wrong. Slackers may have a common
theme, but the way it moves is anything but normal. The
story focuses on 3 cheaters that get caught by a lovesick loser
who threatens to turn them in if they do not help him win a date
with a girl he has a crush on. The plan backfires when the
girl starts to fall for one of the slackers. What can't be
explained is the unusual, come from nowhere gags that set
slackers apart from the rest. Let's just say you'll never
look at sock puppets quite the same way again.

Slackers does a good job at being
entertaining, funny, and even somewhat
intelligent throughout it's running time. |
