Perhaps I have seen too many serial killer movies. But to be honest, my favorite ones are when the killer is intelligent, passionate, philosophical, and artful with his/her killings. Seven, staring Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kevin Spacey fits this perfect. Kevin Spacey fits this prescription before the disease existed.  Freeman and Pitt create an excellent duo in providing a bond between two contrasting personalities.  Although the length of the movie kills the replay value, the plot and cast make it a worth buy with all sorts of detailed extras including the serial killer's journal used in the movie (on disc.)  Well directed and acted, im proud to be a boaster of this bad-ass flick.
