Words can not really express the feelings I have for
this movie. I suppose Feardotcom can best be summed up with the
words of another: "We had like 11 people come watch the movie, 1
person went to sleep, 3 renamed it to lame.org, 4 said it was
the worst movie ever, 2 hated the movie but actually got scared,
and 1 actually enjoyed and got scared from the movie."
The concept of the movie is awesome; a website that uses
negative energy to kill everyone who visits it, but visitors can
save them selves by seeking revenge for the negative energy
core. It's too bad the concept had to be ruined by a horrible,
horrible ending and cheesy computer graphix. The last time I
logged onto my computer I noticed that my computer used 'Windows
98' and not 'Hell's Evil-Demonic Operating System,' and when I
went to a website it didn't talk to me using repetitive but
omni-potent questions aimed at brick walls. I really don't
understand how getting stabbed in the neck with a huge needle
does nothing to effect how one lives, or how getting shot in the
chest leads to death but only after you walk around and shoot
things for a while. But besides the major flaws in human anatomy
and technology, the movie does much more to give it a low score.
Aside from plot flaws, the movie contained many technical
hardships as well. Lighting throughout the film is incredibly
low, and in some points the lighting is so bad that you watch a
black screen for a few minutes. Other times you have to think
hard just to see who you are looking at on the screen because
the characters look alike in many cases.

Feardotcom's pure ignorance when it comes
to characters, poor lighting, horrible
real-world portrayal, and all-around suxiness
earns it a big 3 on the richter scale.
Hopefully someone out there actually gets
scared of the movie rather then the fact that
they paid $7 to watch it. |
