It seems that the Directors of this sequel were overly-aware of the audience that enjoyed the first installment of the Blair Witch phenomenon. Book of shadows comes out with Manson blaring and a nice cast of socially outclassed freaks and a intelligent married couple. This movie is for high school oriented folks. There isn't much passion just people looking for a "good" time. And in an effort to not sound superficial, the plot was classic and well handled overall so the viewing experience is actually ok although the outcome of the film is pretty obvious.
